Xaver is a flatpack chair, meaning that it is cut out by a computer controlled CNC machine from a 19 mm thick birch plywood. The individual building elements can then be flat packed, and thus shipped cost-efficiently and assembled by the customer. But unlike other chairs it has got 7 percent of recycled chipboard in his backrest. So Xaver isn’t just a flatpack chair, he’s an especially
beautiful way of getting rid of these cheap 90’s kitchen cupboards.
